Vault Breaker runs the AI entirely on your device. No conversations, no game moves, and no prompts are ever sent to our servers. The AI inference is 100% local.
Who We Are

What We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to run the leaderboard and game stats:
- Player name — optional nickname you choose when you first launch the app. You can use any name; no real name is required.
- Anonymous device ID — a UUID generated on your device and stored locally. It is never linked to your Apple ID, name, email, or any other personal identifier.
- Game session results — the level played, whether the vault was cracked, your score, turns used, and the model you used. No conversation content is sent.
- Device chip — the processor name (e.g. "A17 Pro") used to populate the performance leaderboard. Not linked to any personal identity.
What We Do NOT Collect
- Conversation messages between you and the AI
- The secret words or hints shown in the game
- Your Apple ID, email, or real name
- Location data
- Contacts, photos, or any other device data
- Crash reports or analytics (we do not use any third-party analytics SDK)
How We Use Your Data
- To display your score on the daily leaderboard
- To show your personal stats (win streak, crack rate) within the app
- To show an aggregate performance leaderboard comparing models and device chips
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
Data Storage
Game session results are stored in a secure database hosted by Supabase (PostgreSQL). Player names and device IDs are stored only in association with game session records.
Data Retention
We retain game session data indefinitely to maintain leaderboard history. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see below).
Your Rights
You can request that we delete all data associated with your device ID at any time. To do so, email ask@aryabhattalabs.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We will process your request within 30 days.
Children
Vault Breaker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
